Babylon was founded in 2004 by Sara Vermeylen.
Their shield shows a right field which is vertically divided in black and yellow, with eight stars in the same colors. the yellow stands for the faculty of arts and the stars are a reference to the eight languages that were originally taught: Spanish, Italian, Latin, French, Greek, English, German and Dutch. The left field is blue and shows the tower of Babel in white; blue and white referring to the colors of the KULeuven. Central at the bottom is a yellow circle with a black monogram made out of the letters G-R-K, which refer to the three circles which were united under Babylon: Germania, Romania and Klio. Above is a banner with their name, and a pen on the left and a quill on the right; these both refer to literature.
They are a Flemish student association in Leuven and unite the students of the study program of Linguistics and Literature at the Faculty of Arts of the KULeuven.
They have their rooms in the Fakbar Letteren, Blijde Inkomststraat 11, 3000 Leuven.

Babylon a été fondée en 2004 par Sara Vermeylen.
Leur blason montre un champ droit qui est divisé verticalement en noir et jaune, avec huit étoiles de la même couleur. Le jaune représente la faculté des arts et les étoiles sont une référence aux huit langues qui étaient enseignées à l’origine : l’espagnol, l’italien, le latin, le français, le grec, l’anglais, l’allemand et le néerlandais. Le champ de gauche est bleu et montre la tour de Babel en blanc ; le bleu et le blanc faisant référence aux couleurs de la KULeuven. Au centre, en bas, se trouve un cercle jaune avec un monogramme noir composé des lettres G-R-K, qui font référence aux trois cercles qui étaient réunis sous Babylon: Germania, Romania et Klio. Au-dessus, une bannière avec leur nom, un stylo à gauche et une plume à droite ; ces deux éléments font référence à la littérature.
Il s’agit d’une association d’étudiants flamands de Louvain qui réunit les étudiants du programme d’études de linguistique et de littérature de la faculté des lettres de la KULeuven.
Ils ont leurs chambres dans le Fakbar Letteren, Blijde Inkomststraat 11, 3000 Leuven.

Babylon werd in 2004 opgericht door Sara Vermeylen.
Hun schild toont een rechterveld dat verticaal verdeeld is in zwart en geel, met acht sterren in dezelfde kleuren. het geel staat voor de faculteit letteren en de sterren zijn een verwijzing naar de acht talen die oorspronkelijk werden gedoceerd: Spaans, Italiaans, Latijn, Frans, Grieks, Engels, Duits en Nederlands. Het linkerveld is blauw en toont de toren van Babel in het wit; blauw en wit verwijzen naar de kleuren van de KULeuven. Centraal onderaan staat een gele cirkel met een zwart monogram gemaakt van de letters G-R-K, die verwijzen naar de drie kringen die verenigd werden onder Babylon: Germania, Romania en Klio. Hierboven staat een banier met hun naam, en een pen links en een ganzenveer rechts; beide verwijzen naar de literatuur.
Ze zijn een Vlaamse studentenvereniging in Leuven en verenigen de studenten van de opleiding Taal- en Letterkunde aan de Faculteit Letteren van de KULeuven.
Ze hebben hun lokalen in de Fakbar Letteren, Blijde Inkomststraat 11, 3000 Leuven.
