The Florex is published by the «Corporatio Brabantia Bruxelliensis». It is currently in its 2nd edition and has more than 2300 pages in 2 volumes.
The 1st edition was published in 1995; the 2nd edition in 2006.
The Florex offers a vast selection of old and recent songs that are generally less known than those appearing in the «Fleurs du Mâle (ULB) G.R.A.C.E.’ editions (1983, 1993 and 2009) » and the editions of the «Studentorum Codex» of the BSG and BSK, the «Carpe Diem» of the Guilde Polytechnique, «Le Petit Bitu» and «Le Bitu Magnifique». These references determined the choice of the title, the word «Florex» being a contraction of the terms «Fleurs du Mâle» and «Codex Studentorum».
The first part is made up solely of songs from associations throughout Belgium and the second part of songs that have their place in the studentical musical world.

Le Florex offre une vaste sélection de chansons anciennes et récentes qui sont généralement moins connues que celles figurant dans les éditions des «Fleurs du Mâle (ULB) du G.R.A.C.E. (1983, 1993 et 2009) » et les éditions du «Codex Studentorum» de la BSG et de la BSK, du «Carpe Diem» de la Guilde Polytechnique, du «Petit Bitu» et du «Bitu Magnifique». Ces références ont déterminé le choix du titre, le mot «Florex» étant une contraction des termes «Fleurs du Mâle» et «Codex studentorum».
La première partie est uniquement composée de chants d’associations de toute la Belgique et la seconde partie de chants qui ont leur place dans l’univers musical estudiantin.

De 1ste editie werd gepubliceerd in 1995; de 2de editie in 2006.
De Florex biedt een uitgebreide selectie van oude en recente nummers die over het algemeen minder bekend zijn dan diegene die verschijnen in «Les Fleurs du Mâle (ULB) G.R.A.C.E.’ edities» (1983 en 1993 en 2009) en de edities van de «Studentorum Codex» van de BSG en BSK, de «Carpe Diem» van de Guilde Polytechnique, «Le Petit Bitu» en «Le Bitu Magnifique». Deze referenties bepaalden de keuze van de titel, waarbij het woord «Florex» een samentrekking is van de termen «Fleurs du Mâle» en «Codex Studentorum».
Het eerste deel bestaat uitsluitend uit liederen van verenigingen uit heel België en het tweede deel uit liederen die hun plaats hebben in de studentenmuziekwereld.
