Corps Ostfalia was a student association at the Polytechnikum in Hannover.
It was founded on 14 June 1869 at the then Polytechnikum in Hannover as a Landsmannschaft and, together with the Landsmannschaften Obotritia, Vandalia and Guestphalia, belonged to the Deutschen Landsmannschaften Convent (DLC). On 16 May 1876 it was converted into a “freischlagende farbentragende Verbindung”.
On 6 October 1877 it was declared a corps and on 18 October it joined the SC zu Hannover, with which it had already had a “Paukverhältnis”.
After suspension during the National Socialist times, Ostfalia was reconstituted on 28 January 1953 with the support of Corps Hannovera Hannover.
In 1972 it was permanently suspended.
In 1988, the Alte Herren of Corps Ostfalia Hannover became members of Hannovera. They still wear their bands. The statutes of Hannovera state that they continue to uphold the traditions of the associations that have merged into it. Therefore, the senior of Hannovera wears three bands at official events.
This Sektzipfel belonged to Manfred Schulz (°25.09.1941 Brunsbüttelkoog, + 22.05.2020 Heikendorf). He gave it to his fiancée Nati on 3 December 1967. It shows following engravings:

Le Corps Ostfalia était une association d’étudiants du Polytechnikum de Hanovre.
Il a été fondé le 14 juin 1869 à l’ancien Polytechnikum de Hanovre en tant que Landsmannschaft et, avec les Landsmannschaften Obotritia, Vandalia et Guestphalia, il appartenait au Deutschen Landsmannschaften Convent (DLC). Le 16 mai 1876, elle a été transformée en “freischlagende farbentragende Verbindung”.
Le 6 octobre 1877, il est déclarée comme corps et le 18 octobre, il rejoint le SC zu Hannover, avec lequel il avait déjà un “Paukverhältnis”.
Après une suspension pendant la période nationale-socialiste, Ostfalia a été reconstitué le 28 janvier 1953 avec le soutien du Corps Hannovera Hannover.
En 1972, il a été définitivement suspendu.
En 1988, les Alte Herren du Corps Ostfalia Hannover sont devenus membres de Hannovera. Ils portent toujours leurs bands. Les statuts de Hannovera stipulent qu’ils continuent à maintenir les traditions des associations qui ont fusionné avec lui. Par conséquent, le senior de Hannovera porte trois bands lors des événements officiels.
Ce Sektzipfel appartenait à Manfred Schulz (°25.09.1941 Brunsbüttelkoog, + 22.05.2020 Heikendorf). Il l’a offert à sa fiancée Nati le 3 décembre 1967. Il porte les gravures suivantes :

Corps Ostfalia was een studentenvereniging aan het Polytechnikum in Hannover.
Ze werd op 14 juni 1869 aan het toenmalige Polytechnikum in Hannover opgericht als Landsmannschaft en behoorde samen met de Landsmannschaften Obotritia, Vandalia en Guestphalia tot het Deutschen Landsmannschaften Convent (DLC). Op 16 mei 1876 werd ze omgevormd tot een “freischlagende farbentragende Verbindung”.
Op 6 oktober 1877 werd het tot corps uitgeroepen en op 18 oktober sloot het zich aan bij de SC zu Hannover, waarmee het reeds een “Paukverhältnis” had gehad.
Na een schorsing tijdens de nationaal-socialistische periode, werd Ostfalia op 28 januari 1953 opnieuw opgericht met de steun van het Corps Hannovera Hannover.
In 1972 werd ze definitief opgeheven.
In 1988 werden de Alte Herren van Corps Ostfalia Hannover lid van Hannovera. Zij dragen nog steeds hun linten. In de statuten van Hannovera staat dat zij de tradities van de verenigingen die in Hannovera zijn opgegaan in ere blijven houden. Daarom draagt de senior van Hannovera drie linten bij officiële evenementen.
Deze Sektzipfel behoorde toe aan Manfred Schulz (°25.09.1941 Brunsbüttelkoog, + 22.05.2020 Heikendorf). Hij schonk hem aan zijn verloofde Nati op 3 december 1967. Er staan de volgende gravures op:
