The Leuven student codex, also known as the green codex was first published in 1955 by the «Katholiek Vlaams Hoogstudenten Verbond» in Leuven (abbr.: KVHV Leuven). Hugo van Bockstal took care of the editing; Wilfried Neefs handled the financial side.
It contains three parts: the first part or «Corps book» gives an overview of most student associations from Flemish Brabant, Antwerp, Limburg and Brussels, where this codex is commonly used. The second part is called the «Club codex» and is often referred to as the «blue pages». It contains the rules and regulations concerning traditional Flemish student life. Most prominent are the rules concerning the conduct of a club evening. The third part is called the «Songbook» and contains songs in different languages: Dutch, German, African, French, English and Latin.

Le codex des étudiants de Louvain, également appelé codex vert, a été publié pour la première fois en 1955 par le «Katholiek Vlaams Hoogstudenten Verbond» à Louvain (abbr. : KVHV Leuven). Hugo van Bockstal s’est chargé de la rédaction, Wilfried Neefs s’est occupé de l’aspect financier.
Elle contient trois parties : la première partie ou «livre du Corps» donne un aperçu de la plupart des associations d’étudiants du Brabant flamand, d’Anvers, du Limbourg et de Bruxelles, où ce codex est couramment utilisé. La deuxième partie est appelée le «codex du Club» et est souvent appelée «pages bleues». Elle contient les règles et règlements concernant la vie étudiante flamande traditionnelle. Les règles les plus importantes sont celles qui concernent le déroulement d’une soirée dans un club. La troisième partie s’appelle le «Chansonnier»et contient des chansons en différentes langues : néerlandais, allemand, africain, français, anglais et latin.

De Leuvense studentencodex, ook wel de groene codex genoemd, werd in 1955 voor het eerst uitgegeven door het «Katholiek Vlaams Hoogstudenten Verbond» te Leuven (afkorting: KVHV Leuven). Hugo van Bockstal verzorgde de redactie; Wilfried Neefs nam de financiële kant voor zijn rekening.
Het bevat drie delen: het eerste deel of «Corpsboek» geeft een overzicht van de meeste studentenverenigingen uit Vlaams-Brabant, Antwerpen, Limburg en Brussel, waar deze codex gebruikt wordt. Het tweede deel wordt de «Clubcodex» genoemd en wordt vaak aangeduid als de «blauwe bladzijden». Het bevat de regels en voorschriften betreffende het traditionele Vlaamse studentenleven. Het voornaamste zijn de regels betreffende het verloop van een clubavond. Het derde deel wordt het «liederboek» genoemd en bevat liederen in verschillende talen: Nederlands, Duits, Afrikaans, Frans, Engels en Latijn.
