In Flanders, primarily the codices of the KVHV are used. These exist in a green and a blue edition:

• The green edition is intended for the provinces of Flemish Brabant, Antwerp, Limburg and the Brussels Capital Region. This green edition, also called the Leuven codex, was first published in this form in 1955. Hugo van Bockstal took care of the editing, while Wilfried Neefs took care of the financial side. The Clubcodex (see below) itself was commissioned by the K.V.H.V.-Leuven and written by Dr. Mon de Goeyse.

• The blue edition is intended for the provinces of East Flanders and West Flanders. In cooperation with the SK Ghendt, the KVHV-Gent and the KVHV-Oostende, the Studentencentrum Leuven published the blue KVHV codex in 1993. This was made after the Leuven model for the students from East and West Flanders. This first edition was compiled by Jef Dauwe and Jan Veestraeten. Since the re-publication of the Ghent codex by SC Ghendt and the additional West Flemish codex, this edition is less used.

Each of these editions contains three parts:

1. The first part is called the corps book, and contains an overview of most of the student clubs located in the above-mentioned provinces.
2. The second volume is called clubcodex and is also known as the blue pages. It contains the rules and regulations governing Flemish traditional student life, including the rules concerning the conduct of a club night.
3. The third part is called the songbook and contains hundreds of songs in different languages: Dutch, German, Afrikaans, French, English and Latin.

The club codex and the song book are identical in both editions. Only the corps book differs.
