Educata
Educata was the Faculty circle for students of the teacher training programme of the Pedagogische Hogeschool at Group T.
Contents
History
Educata was founded on 25 November 1997 by Patrick Vermeulen, An Delcloo, Fanny Schoevaerts, Kathie De Wit, Tom Vercammen and Didi Vandermeulen.
In October 2014, the Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven (KHLeuven) and the Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg (KH Limburg) merged to form the UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL). Teacher training within the Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven (KHLeuven), of which Didactica was the circle, was also housed in this new institution. In 2016, it was no longer practical for the UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) to cooperate with both circles, both of which worked within the same programme. Therefore, Didactica and Educata merged to form the new circle Docentica.
Colours
Educata's colours were Red-Blue-Red.
The shield was vertically divided, with a black lion at the top left and a graduation hat at the bottom, both on a yellow background. The right half showed the colours with the Zirkel on it.
