History
In the 1970s, a symbiosis had developed within the KSC between people from Brussels and Antwerp. This Antwerp presence may have been an eyesore for some of the Brussels people, but the collaboration was nevertheless fruitful. Until in May 1975 some Antwerp friends decided to add force to their swan song by hijacking the bus during a trip to Antwerp and treating the Brussels members to a forced dropping to Leuven.
In October 1975, the still studying Antwerp participants of this action were asked (not always very kindly) not to sign up again for the upcoming activities of the KSC. Therefore, on 26 November 1975, Omnia was founded by Ward Van Rompay as a breakaway from the KSC. With the Dulle-Grietenconvent, female students had been active in the club since its inception. They grouped students from the province of Antwerp.
In 1985 the club disappeared, but on Tuesday 2 November 1999 the name was brought up again when Gitte Bel and Annemie Peeters did not find a women's club to their liking and decided to revive Omnia. The club was accepted as a novice of the MSK in October 2001 and officially acknowledged on Wednesday 6 March 2002.
Colours
Omnia's colours are Red-Blue-Red with blue as the main colour.
The shield shows the coat of arms of the city of Antwerp on the left, while the right half is filled in with the club colours and the Zirkel.
