Vader Aphrodite (Leuven)
Aphrodite unites female students in Leuven who were from Antwerp, but over time the regional affiliation disappeared.

History
Founded on 3 February 1986 by Katrin Goderis, Aphrodite was one of the very first exclusively female student clubs in Leuven.
Originally, only girls from Antwerp were admitted, but over time the regional affiliation disappeared.
Aphrodite proved to be a successful women's student club until internal problems led to a split in 1998-1999. In 1999-2000, Aphrodite consisted of only 2 members. It seemed obvious to let the club die a silent death, but newly hazed Quirine Winne accepted the challenge to take on the presidency despite her limited experience. They were a modest club of six that year but thanks to the girls' great enthusiasm and social spirit, they managed to start 2001 with just under 20 members. They even got a new godmother to join them: Odette, known for her delicious spaghetti in the Boule.
The following year, 8 more enthusiasts then joined, making Aphrodite a well-run girls' student club once again.
Colours
Aphrodite's colours are Blue-White-Green with Green as the main colour. The blue represents the waters of the River Scheldt, the white the swan, symbolising beauty and the green the apple of contention in the myth of Aphrodite and Paris.
The shield on the left shows an apple, a swan and the year 1986 on a blue background while the right half shows the colours and the Zirkel.
