Eoos
Eoos is a Flemish faculty circle in Leuven and unites the students of the Language and Regional Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the KU Leuven.
History
Eoos was founded in 1980; though the information on who its founders are has been lost. They were part of the Algemene Studentenraad (ASR) until 1984, when they left and joined the Kring Unie Leuven (KrUL). After the ASR and KrUL settled their differences and became Leuvense Overkoepelende Kringorganisatie (LOKO) in 1986, Eoos automatically fell under LOKO.
Together with the other faculty circles of the faculty of arts (Alfa, Babylon, Historia, Mecenas and Musicologica), Eoos is also part of KOCO Letteren.
Eoos is also a member of the StudentenRaad Letteren (StRaaL).
Eoos is the faculty circle for the students of Language and Regional Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the KULeuven:

Colours
The colours of Eoos are Green-Gold though they do not wear Couleur. These colours are only visible in their blason, and in daily objects such as stickers, sweaters and t-shirts.

Their shield shows a bridge before a rising sun in gold on a green background on the right, and a green field with a golden crane on the left. Above is written the name «Eoos» in gold.
The shield was changed in 2019. Before this time, the right field showed a rising sun with the names of the goddess of dawn written in the different languages represented by Eoos. The likeness to the imperial war flag of Japan offended some international students, causing the change.
Before 2008 the shield looked a lot different: Above was the name «Eoos», on the right was a field with a rising sun, and on the left the names of the goddess of dawn written in the different languages represented by Eoos. Below was a field with two stone tablets and the symbol Yin-Yang. The change was mainly made because of the disbandment of the study program of biblical studies.

Song
In the song, each study program is specifically referred to in a line. The aim is that at the end of the sentence, the students who belong to that particular discipline stand up and shout the name of their discipline out loud.
